THE PROBLEM YOU REALLY HAVE ARE THE VERY "AFRICANS" THEMSELVES AND THOSE IN THE DIASPORA WHO PUT "I" FIRST.
You see when I first heard this in an International Relations course after class I called the other 4 people also labelled "black" that were also in the class and the response I got was (I Quote:) "....Idris forget it you think too much..." and from another (I Quote:) "...who cares..."
Yes! sadly the problem Africa and the Diaspora has is what they see in the MIRROR!! Sadly, unlike what the other gentleman in class exclaimed above...If only they did CARE. As if they did care they would have seen the NEED to agree to agree and put aside their colonially inherited differences and team worked to ensure that even though they lacked the skills to COUNTER they would have passed on as much skills to a more younger and capable generation so that they could easily pickup form where they left off. But you see the "I" came first and they paved in to caring less. Like always they went in to Defensive Denail and Head Burying deep in the sand as for some strange reason like Sista Souljah also once pointed out they have become "comfortable" living in pain.
That sadly is the FOLLY of the African and The Diaspora to DATE!!
